They say dead men tell no tales, but what if someone gave them a voice?
About the show
Tell No Tales is a queer paranormal audio drama that doesn’t bother with questions like ‘are ghosts real?’ That much is already a certainty. Instead, we ask: ‘are ghosts people?’
Leo Quinn works for Better Place – the world leader in ghost removal – but they’re having doubts about the ethics of their work. Leo wants to prove that ghosts deserve a say in their own fate, and to do so, they’re building a recorder that will let them communicate with spirits. Each episode brings a new ghost with a new tale to tell, and along the way, Leo and friends unveil mysteries about Better Place, their boss, and the nature of the spirit plane itself.
Season one started in May 2022 as a small passion-project, but with the 25-episode season now fully completed, Tell No Tales has had over 45,000 downloads.
Season two has so much in store, with a huge cast of talented voice actors bringing new ghosts to life. We’ll reveal more secrets, murkier ethics, and most importantly, new ghosts with new tales to tell.
If you’re new to the show, our completed first season is available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever else you get your podcasts. Tell No Tales is a scripted fiction podcast, so we reccommend starting from S1 E1 – Not For Long (but we’re not the boss of you).

Tell No Tales is now proudly distributed by Twin Strangers Productions. Visit their website to find out more about the Twin Strangers network and the other wonderful shows and creators involved with it.

Main Cast & Crew
Leanne Egan

Writer, producer, and voice of Leo
Twitter: @leanneeggg
Website: leanneegan.com
Leanne created Tell No Tales on a whim after writing a short story about an apologetic poltergeist, but with three plotted seasons and a potential future novel, it’s too late to turn back now. They have lent their voice to guest characters in shows like Eeler’s Choice and Syntax, and outside of podcasting you can usually find them juggling the epic highs and lows of being a debut author.
Phil Thompson

Voice of Riley Matkins
Instagram: @bxrrie
In lieu of a bio, Phil has asked for a roast: Much like Riley, Phil is a loyal and caring friend, except for that one time 14 years ago when he refused to visit Leanne in hospital out of fear of their dad. Even while wearing a hat, it can be guaranteed that Phil pushed their hair up and back down again at least three times before taking this photo.
Asher Amor-Train

Voice of Frank Williamson
Twitter: @AsherATVA
Asher is new to the world of voice acting, reprising their debut voice acting role of Frank Williamson for season two of Tell No Tales. When not sweating to death in Leanne’s recording booth they can be found enjoying sci fi and fantasy audio fiction in all its forms, or down at their allotment enjoying mud in all its forms. Asher also appears in Tell No Tales as Edna Miller, Jeremy Baxter, Andrew Prie & additional voices. Someone please stop them, they’re far too powerful.
Shannon Kelly

Voice of Julia Wilde
Shannon remains elusive online, much like her favourite cryptids
Shannon is a wonderful friend and avid cryptid enthusiast. She has been very forgiving of Tell No Tales’s plethora of friendly ghosts, despite her preference for good old-fashioned nightmare fuel. Although she insists that she is not as clever as the character she voices, Leanne has seen a presentation made by Shannon about mothman, and begs to differ.
